This policy explains how Dick Pick collects, uses, and protects personal information through dickpick.app, the Dick Pick iPhone app, its private beta, and related customer services.
1. Who operates Dick Pick?
Dick Pick operates from Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected] or 725-999-9602.
2. Information we collect
- Account and verification: name or display name, email address, account identifier, email-verification status, and sign-in records handled by our authentication provider.
- Licensing: product-code claims, temporary beta invitations, device-specific access data, entitlement history, and fraud-prevention records.
- Launch list: email address, signup time, consent to launch updates, source of signup, and limited abuse-prevention data.
- Orders and transactions: order identifiers, products purchased, payment status, refunds, and fulfillment information when physical product sales begin. We do not store full payment card numbers in the app.
- Optional content: information you choose to publish in a performer profile, messages you send us, and materials you deliberately upload or share.
- Technical information: app version, device/operating-system details, limited diagnostic data, and service/security logs needed to investigate failures and protect the service.
3. Performance content on your device
Custom performance routines, imported images, sounds, and local performance settings are normally stored on your device. Creating or running a routine does not by itself upload its media to our account service. Content you deliberately upload, publish, or send to support may be processed by the relevant feature or service.
4. How we use the information
We use this data to provide account access, verify email, secure licenses, prevent duplicate redemptions and abuse, deliver products, respond to support, operate optional member features, communicate service changes, and improve reliability. Launch-list emails may be unsubscribed from.
5. Service providers and sharing
Our hosting, authentication, database, email, checkout, support, and app-distribution providers process information needed for these services. Apple processes App Store purchases and TestFlight participation under its own terms. Physical-product payments, when offered, are processed by the checkout provider identified at payment. We do not sell personal information or use the app for cross-app advertising tracking. Information may be disclosed when legally required or to protect against misuse.
6. Retention and security
We retain personal data only as reasonably needed for active service, customer support, security, fulfillment, and applicable legal or accounting obligations. Some records may be retained after an account deletion request where required by law, and backups may expire on their normal retention schedules. We apply access controls and security protections, but no Internet service can promise absolute security.
7. Your choices and account deletion
You can request correction or deletion of account information at [email protected]. The mobile app also includes an account-deletion request option in Account & Store. We review requests, remove applicable personal data, and confirm completion, subject to legal retention requirements. Deleting a Dick Pick account does not delete separate transaction records retained by Apple or your payment provider.
8. Children and legal rights
Dick Pick is a performance tool, not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you rights to access, correct, or delete data. Contact us to exercise them.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the Services change. The updated policy and effective date will be posted at this address.
